Attach the weatherstripping.

After attaching weatherstripping to the underside fringe of the primary garage door panel, set the panel within the doorway and fix it in situ by driving nails partway into each jamb at an angle so that they wedge the door in situ. Attach the hinges to the highest fringe of the door.

Assemble the pieces and the brackets

Assemble the varied pieces for the vertical, curved, and horizontal tracks, following the manufacturer’s instructions. There are rollers and brackets that are necessary for the door to work properly. When doing the DIY work, make sure you are following all of the manufacturer’s instructions. Any actions that are taken on one side of the door must be repeated exactly on the other side of the door.
